August 22 1996 as the only
eastside tortilla factory in Tucson.
With the help of Family and
Friends, we were able to see our
dream come true. Over the years,
we have added a few new items to
our menu but the tortillas have
never changed.
today is the same one that we have
been using from the day that we
opened La Mesa Tortillas. Just
before opening, I asked my mother
and grandmother to help me
perfect the recipe; I wanted our
tortillas to have the same authentic
flavor and freshness we have all
grown up with.
